Japanese laptop maker Kohjinsha has released a dual-screen laptop in time for Christmas. The Kohjinsha DZ has two 10.1” LCDs with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.6GHz Athlon Neo MV-40, 1GB of RAM (can upgrade to 4GB), ATI Radeon HD 3200, 160GB HDD, b/g/n wi-fi . Asus In Talks To Acquire Toshiba’s Laptop Division

Asus Chairman Jonney Shih was quoted in China's Commercial Times saying that his company had had talks with Toshiba regarding acquisition of its notebook business.  To date, though, nothing has been finalized. Asus, who basically  invented the netbook segment with its eee PC line, has not yet acquired any other brands, unlike its competitor Acer, who purchased Gateway and eMachines.
